American Accent! App Reviews

It is fun. i know I dont speak perfect American English like most of us. I like how they give u the phonenics right below the each word. Some have forgotten how to pronounce.

This is a really great game if you are practicing English. I speak English and it was very fun to see what it says.

I was very aggravated at this app because it wouldnt work for me. I tried talking close and far from the microphone with no noise in the background and even though it said it was recording, it never picked up my voice. Even though Ive lived in Kentucky my whole life I wouldnt have cared if it thought I wasnt American, I was just getting it for fun. My complaint was that the app wouldnt work for me. :(

Even though I havent tried it yet it seems like a lot of people like it even though it says they are not completely American

This app is pretty cool but I dont think that this app is extremely accurate because maybe you just lost a tooth and you were trying out the app. Also because maybe you are complete American and they dont notice it. But besides that this app is pretty cool.

I got 1 rong and it said I got 10 rong that is y I put 3

This game is really dumb because I have a American accent because Im American and it says that I get most of them wrong whoever made this game needs to make it better or I will delete the game permanently please send me a note back and I will tell you all my ideas to make the app better also dont call it American test call it voice challenge so kids will want the app more make the words harder to pronounce so they understand why they got it wrong please send another note back and Ill tell you guys aaaalllll my wonderful ideas and l can tell you other secrets so kids will love this app Sincerely Alexis409

i am american. i got a 74%. not sure if this thing actually works. also... just because my "ancestors" are not american does not change the way i talk. its just how THEY talk.

Lol. Sorry. I already reviewed and got 90 the first time. Re did the test. 98. I am Native American. But my heritage has nothing to do with how I speak. Listen people. Start cleaning up your diction. Enunciate and clearer pronunciation of Your words will help. Dont speak louder. Just clearer. Lol

I like to be a voice actor someday, and this app surprisingly tells me how English the voice is, which is really funny! One thing, I hope there is even more words to use in the future. ( I got 81% for the first try. Weird... )

Ok I thought I would be trashy but its amazing omg

I am appalled by the grammar, spelling, and punctuation, or a lack there of, that I have read in the reviews. Its very difficult to take someones critical review of others when they dont even know what it means to be American. Being born in America (this may come as a shocker) does in fact make you AMERICAN!!! Your nationality is American if youre born in America. Your ethnicity may not be, but your nationality certainly is if you were born in America. If you were born in Canada, your nationality would be Canadian. Now onto some other grammatical errors that jumped out at me. "There" is used instead of "their" along with "your" being used instead "youre". Know how to spell a word in both past and present tense. For example: has it ever occurRED to you. Not has it ever occur to you. Commas arent used where they are suppose to be used. "An" is used when proceeding a word that starts with a vowel or in some cases an "h". You may not find it a big deal now, but remember if you keep practicing bad habits and terrible grammar thats what youre going to use when youre an adult and no one will ever take you seriously. Those who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.

This app is right you people with bad comments you wrong if you where born in America it doesnt madder because actually I was born in America but I am part French, German, and American Indian. And the app said i am good at speaking American but not totally American!

American test is not the best it says " you need to work on English" I just dont like it

Its fun to test and get results for which words pronounced correctly. but thats it? If there are more word varietion and more detailed feedback analysis, more than which words were pronouced correctly, this will be more useful. of course, this will not be free then though. a good part is, this can work with microphone on my phone and no other devices necessary.
